Prioritised Action List. Jim to take top 3 from each section and present. Looked at Wales In Bloom Judging criteria. Update – I have been in touch with Wales in Bloom and have arranged a meeting with one of their co-ordinators. This advice will be used to inform our next meeting, and hopefully help decide how much and what we should aim to achieve by next June. There will be some expense for entering the competition, which should be clearer after the first meeting. Proposed that we discuss this in depth at the next meeting. Decide on time priorities, and possibly have a community meeting in the Parish Hall sometime in October with outline plans. |

Further update – AS has written to AVOW to look at funding initiatives for some of our list of actions so far. Any response to bring to the next meeting. TE to gain some information from WCBC that may be useful for the next meeting when we discuss the In Bloom project. This information is detail of what the WCBC is contracted to do in Chirk and when. It may be we can get more done, or use the same resource better for Chirk. We will likely need the same information from the Town Council, where, when and how much is done on parks, streets etc. |

It will be important for all to attend as in bloom means far more than planting some flowers. It means tying in many aspects of community to make sure the improvements are long lasting and respected. We need to agree many strands at this meeting and then most likely advertise what we are intending to do and when we will have a Public meeting so the residents/trades can support us. This will be an opportunity to get some other tasks on the action list completed. |
Apologies and confirmation of attendance beforehand would be helpful by all. |
